• Raw bananas 2
  • Green chillies 3
  • Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  • Coconut 1/2
  • Mustard seeds 1/2 tsp
  • Cumin seeds 1/2 tsp
  • Onions 4
  • Coconut oil 1 tbsp
  • Curry leaves 10
  • Salt to taste


Peel and cut bananas into cubes.Wash in a little buttermilk to remove stickiness.

Grind green chillies and turmeric powder. Mix with bananas.
Add salt and water and cook till bananas are tender.
Grind together the grated coconut and cumin seeds finely.

Add to bananas. Cook, stirring all the time. Remove.Heat coconut oil and fry sliced onions and curry leaves.
When brown, add mustard seeds.

When mustard seeds pop, pour over bananas and remove.
