Chicken Ginger In Vietnamese Style

 

Recipe Ingredients

Chicken drumsticks 3

Oil  3 tbsp

Chopped ginger 1 medium sized piece

Chopped onion 1

Chopped red chili  2

Dry lemon grass  1 tsp

Water  1 cup

Salt  as required

Lemon juice  1 tbsp

Fried peanuts  50 grams

Spring  onion  2

Orange rind 1 tsp

Yogurt  125 grams

Green chilies  2

Curry leaves 1 stick

Chopped tomatoes  1

Worcestershire sauce 1 tbsp

 

Recipe Method

Remove the meat from the drumsticks and keep aside

Heat oil in a wok, add chopped ginger and chicken and cook till the chicken turns  golden in color.

Add chopped onion, chopped green chilies, chopped red chilies, lemon grass and cook for 2 minutes.

Add 1 cup of water, salt, lemon juice and cover the pan and simmer

After 10 to 15 minutes when the chicken tenders add chopped spring  onions, Worcestershire sauce, beaten yogurt, fried peanuts and mix well.
