Claypot Rice Recipe

this rice is very different from others. it tastes good, looks good and smells good
Claypot Rice
Recipe Ingredients

  • 2 cups long grain rice
  • ¼ cup oil
  • 3-4 spring onions roughly chopped
  • 8-10 florets broccoli, small
  • to taste Salt
  • 1/2 ginger sliced
  • 4-5 mushrooms
  • 1 cup cornflower
  • 1-1/4 vegetable stock
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 2 tsps soy sauce
  • to taste Black pepper powder
Recipe Method

  1. Heat oil in a pan and add 4-5 chopped spring onions , 8-10 florets of broccoli and salt.
  2. Sprinkle a little water and toss on high heat for two minutes.
  3. Add 1 inch piece ginger, 4-5 quartered button mushrooms and stir.
  4. Mix corn flour in 1 tbsp chicken stock. And also add 1tbsp sugar, 2 tsp soya sauce, 1 cup chicken stock and corn flour mixture to the pan and cook.
  5. Add salt and black pepper powder and mix
  6. Add 1-1/2 cup rice to the mixture and mix well.
  7. Transfer the contents into a clay pot
  8. Mix well, allow simmering for5 minutes. Serve hot.
