Recipe Ingredients

  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/4 cup split green gram
  • 1 tsp chopped green chillies
  • 1 tbsp coriander seeds
  • 1/4 cup chopped onions
  • 1/4 cup mashed potatoes
  • 5 tbsps oil
  • to taste salt
Recipe Method

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and knead into soft dough using enough water. Cover with a wet muslin cloth and keep aside for 10 minutes.
  2. Divide it into 6 equal portions.
  3. Roll out each portion into thick circles using wheat flour for rolling.
  4. Cook on a griddle, using oil, till light brown from both sides.
  5. Serve hot.
