Crunchy Chicken & Chips


Chicken boneless ½ kg
Potatoes 2
Black pepper 1 tsp
Garlic crushed 1 tbsp
Salt ½ tsp
Vinegar 2 tbsp
Oil for fry
Ingredients for Paste
Flour 1 cup
Egg 1
Crushed red pepper 1 tsp
Carom seeds ½ tsp
Garlic powder ½ tsp
Salt ½ tsp
Baking powder ½ tsp
Chilled water as required
• Marinate ½ kg boneless chicken with 1 tbsp crushed garlic, ½ tsp salt, 2 tbsp vinegar and 1 tsp crushed black pepper. Keep aside for 30 minutes.
• In a bowl mix together 1 cup flour, 1 egg, ½ tsp carom seeds, 1 tsp crushed red pepper, ½ tsp garlic powder, ½ tsp salt, ½ tsp baking powder and chilled water as required.
• Mix well to make thick batter.
• Now dip marinated chicken cubes in batter one by one and deep fry till golden brown.
• Cut potatoes in finger shape, dip each potato finger in prepared paste and deep fry till golden brown and crispy.
• Serve crispy fried chicken and crunchy chips together with ketchup.
