Foot-Long Sandwiches Recipe

Foot-Long Sandwiches
Recipe Ingredients

  • 1 loaf Soft long bread
  • 4 tbsp Mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp Ketchup
  • 2 tbsp mustard paste
  • Pickled gherkins, sliced
  • 3 Chicken breast fillets, flattened
  • 1 tsp crushed red chilies
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  •  1 tsp black pepper, crushed
  • Cheese slices
  • Salad leaves
  • Tomato, sliced
Recipe Method

  1. Marinate chicken breast fillets with crushed red chilies, salt, pepper, lemon juice and let stand for a few hours in fridge. Heat oil add chicken and cook till done. Drain excess sauce. Slit the soft long bread and apply mayo, mustard and ketchup and the lettuce, top with chicken breast, cheese slices and tomatoes and gherkins and top with the other slice of the bread. Serve immediately
