Garlic Prawn Recipe

Tastes good with both spagetti and chinese rice
Garlic Prawn
Recipe Ingredients

  • 300 gms uncooked meduim sized prawns
  • 1 1/2 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 cup chicken stock
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1/2 tsp dry grounded mustard
  • 1/4 cup cream optional
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsely for garnishing .
  • salt and pepper preferably white as required .
Recipe Method

  1. Heat butter and add garlic in a saucepan .
  2. Add flour until combined . Remove from heat .
  3. Gradually add stock till combined.
  4. Return pan to the heat and stir till the sauce begins boiling .
  5. Add mustard , and season with pepper and salt as required.
  6. Bring the sauce to a boil and add the prawns .
  7. Take off from the heat as soon as the prawns colour changes.That will take hardly 2 minutes .
  8. The sauce should not be too thick .
  9. garnish with parsely and serve immediately .
  10. FOR PRESENTATION CAN SERVE ON A SIZZLING PLATE
