Grilled Beef With Rice Recipe

A complete meaty meal. Marinated grilled beef is served in a large platter with fresh vegetables and nicely seasoned rice.
Grilled Beef With Rice
Recipe Ingredients

  • Beef 300 gm (steaks)

For Marinade:

  • Sesame oil 60 ml
  • Soy sauce 50 ml (light)
  • Ginger 40 gm (chopped)
  • Garlic 40 gm (chopped)
  • Garlic-chilli sauce 130 gm
  • Tomato, onion and cucumber roundels to serve

For Fried Rice:

  • Rice 600 gm (boiled/cooked)
  • Oil 3 tbsp
  • Eggs 4 (lightly whisked)
  • Spring onion 40 gm (sliced)
  • Baby corn 40 gm (sliced)
  • Snow peas 40 gm (sliced)
  • For Seasoning:
  • Sugar 30 gm
  • Salt 30 gm
  • Garlic sauce 30 gm
Recipe Method
Mix together all the ingredients of the marinade and marinate the beef in it for a couple of hours.
Grill the marinated beef till it reaches desired level of doneness.
Cut into pieces and keep aside.
To prepare fried rice: Heat oil in a wok, add eggs, cook and stir until egg is lightly scrambled.
Add all the vegetables and stir-fry for a minute.
Add rice and toss again.
Mix in all the seasoning ingredients, toss again.
To serve, create a bed of tomato, onion, cucumber roundels, place beef pieces on top and serve with a portion of rice.
