Recipe Ingredients

  • Dry vermicelli 400 gm
  • Butter 125 gm melted
  • Unsweetened Rubry 200 gm
  • Khoya 200 gm
  • Milk 1/2 cup
  • Sugar syrup as required
Recipe Method

  1. Break vermicelli and pour butter on it, mix well.
  2. Line a baking dish with this broken vermicelli, press to make a firm base especially to edges with thumb.
  3. Cook khoya, rubry and milk on a slow flame till. Keep stirring until thick and no water remains.
  4. Pour this mixture over the base then again layer with broken vermicelli.
  5. Bake at 180 degree C for 20 minutes.
  6. Take out of oven and pour sugar syrup while hot.
  7. Rest for a while then turn over, cut in to squares and serve.
