LAZIZ PAYA CURRY

INGREDIENTS

  • * Cow”s hoof : 1 (Washed in hot water)
  • * Water : 8-10 Glass
  • * Onion : 1 finely sliced
  • * Onion paste : 1 cup
  • * Garlic paste : 2 tablespoons
  • * Ginger paste : 2 tablespoons
  • * Oil : 1 cup
  • * Coriander seeds : 1 tablespoons
  • * Fennel : 1 tablespoons
  • * Cloves : 4-5
  • Cardamom : 1
  • Black pepper : 6-8
  • Cumin : 1/2 teaspoon
  • Red Chilli Powder : 1 teaspoon
  • Ground Coriander : 1 teaspoon
  • Ground Turmeric : 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt : 1 tablespoon or as to taste
  • Fresh Green Coriander, Green Chillies and lemon as required (for Garnishing)

COOKING DIRECTIONS

In a pan add 8-10 glass of water, add cow”s hoof, sliced onion, garlic paste, ginger paste, coriander seeds, fennel, cloves, cardamom, black pepper, cumin and salt, stir and cook on medium heat.

Heat oil in an other pan, add onion paste, red chilli powder, ground coriander, ground turmeric and ground cumin stir well until oil separates from the curry.

Add this curry into the paya pan, stir well and cover then reduce the heat and simmer for 45 minutes.

Garnish with fresh chopped green coriander, green chillies and lemon.

Laziz Paya Curry is ready to serve.

Serve hot with naan.

Serve 6-8 persons.
