Nancy’s Easy Chicken Pot Pie


  • small can of green beans
  • small can of corn
  • 1 deli-roasted chicken
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 3 chicken bouillon cubes (crushed)
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Pepper to taste
  • 3 cups milk
  • 3 oz cream cheese
  • 1 can crescent roll topper

    Remove all meat from chicken- discard all skin

    Cut up meat into bite size pieces and set aside

    Melt butter over med-high heat

  • 4

    Add flour and cook for about 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly

    Using a wire whisk, slowly add milk

  • 6

    Cook and stir with whisk until smooth

    Lower to medium heat when sauce thickens

  • 8

    Add cream cheese, bouillon, and seasoning.

    Stir and cook until desired consistency

  • 10

    Add chicken and veggies (drain green beans, but not corn)

    Pour mixture into 9×13 pan

  • 12

    Place crescent roll over mixture

  • 13

    Bake at 350° for about 20 minutes
