Onion Tomato Raita

Onion 1
Tomato 1
Green chilies 2 – 3
Roasted peanut 2 tsp
Yogurt 1 cup
Mustard seeds 1 tsp
Cumin seeds 1 tsp
Asafetida a pinch
Oil 1 tbsp
Salt to taste
Coriander leaves for garnish

• Finely chop 1 onion, 1 tomato and 2 – 3 green chilies.
• In a bowl beat 1 cup yogurt. Add 2 tsp roasted ground peanut, salt to taste and chopped vegetables.
• Heat 1 tbsp oil in a small wok, add 1 tsp mustard seeds and fry till it starts sizzling. Now add a pinch of asafetida.
• Remove from fire, cool a little and pour on top of Raita.
• Garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
