Pineapple Upside Down Cake Recipe

Recipe Ingredients

  • Pineapple Rings 1 can
  • Sugar 2 cup
  • Egg 4
  • Cherries 1 cup
  • Butter 150 gm
  • All-purpose flour 2, 1/2 cup
  • Baking powder 2 tbsp
  • Brown sugar 2 tbsp
  • Milk as required
Recipe Method
For cake batter:

  1. Take half of pineapple from tin and put it in a blender jug and make paste.
  2. In a mixing bowl, mix sugar and egg’s until smooth and creamy.
  3. Then add butter and again beat it.
  4. Now add baking powder and pine apple paste and mix.
  5. Put flour in batter and mix milk to make smooth batter.
  6. Now grease the baking pan with butter and coat it with sugar.
  7. Now place reaming slices of pineapple in the base and set cherry in the center of each slice.
  8. Now gradually pour in the batter without disturbing the rings .
  9. Cover it with aluminum foil and bake it for 200 c for 30 to 35 minutes.
  10. Now take out the cake from pan and put it upside down.
