Recipe Ingredients

  • 1 whole mutton leg
  • 4 tbsps papaya paste
  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 2 tbsps garlic paste
  • 2 tbsps ginger paste
  • 4 tsps red chili flakes
  • 1 tbsp dry mango powde
  • 2 tsps hot spice powder
  • 2 tsps cumin seeds, crushed
  • 2 tsps chaat masala
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 2 tsps red chili powder
  • to taste salt
  • for fryimg Oil
Recipe Method

  1. Wash mutton leg and drain.
  2. Make deep slits over lamb leg.
  3. Apply salt, pepper,ginger garlic paste and papaya paste on it.
  4. Cover and marinate for 2 hours.
  5. Heat oil in a large deep skillet.
  6. Put marinated leg in hot oil just to give it a brown color.Remove from the oil and set aside.
  7. In a bowl, combine all remaining ingredients with yogurt.
  8. Apply on fried leg properly.
  9. Pour 6 glass of water in the steamer.
  10. Steam leg until cooked
  11. Raan Steam Roast is ready now.
