Raw Mango Sauce Recipe

It’s a delightful accessory especially with snacks, vegetables and daal chawal etc that creates a lip smacking effect. This sauce can be prepare effortlessly and you can put in jar and store in the fridge for days to come
Raw Mango Sauce
Recipe Ingredients

  •     Raw mango 2 – 3
  •     Lemon juice 1 tbsp
  •     Brown sugar 4 tbsp
  •     Cinnamon powder 1/3 tsp
  •     Green chili 5 – 6
  •     Salt to taste
Recipe Method

  1. Firstly scoop out the flesh from the raw mangoes.
  2. Heat a medium saucepan over medium high heat.
  3. Add the mango flesh, along with brown sugar, green chilies, salt and cinnamon powder.
  4. Cook for 4 – 5 minutes or until the mangoes become soft.
  5. Add ½ cup water and bring to the boil.
  6. After cooling place the mango mixture into a blender and add lemon juice.
  7. Blend until smooth.
  8. Serve cold or at room temperature.
