Red Sauce Chutney By Shireen Anwar

Ingredients:

Tamarind pulp 2 cup
Water 1 cup
Jiggery 2 tbsp
Plums 1 cup (dried)
Sugar ½ cup
Ketchup ½ cup
Salt ½ tsp
Chili powder 1 tbsp
Red color 1 pinch
Carrot 2 tbsp
Cabbage 2 tbsp
Red Chilies 10 button

green chilis 6 (fried)

Method:

In a pan, put dried plum with water, tamarind pulp, jiggery, dried plums, sugar, ketchup, salt, chili powder and red color; cook for 30 minutes on low flame till mixture syrupy.
Then add carrot, cabbage, red chilies and fried green chilies, cook for another 5 minutes and remove .
