Roghan Korma Recipe

This mouth-watering recipe for Roghan Qorma can be prepared in 30 minutes and serves 2-4 people try out and enjoy this recipe and make to please your family.
Roghan Korma
Recipe Ingredients

  • Mutton ½ kg
  • Finely chopped onions 3
  • Cardamoms 6
  • Yoghurt 1 cup
  • Ghee 1 cup
  • Black cumin seeds 1 tsp
  • All spices ground 1 tsp
  • Poppy seeds 1 tsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tbsp
  • Qorma masala 1 tbsp
  • Coriander powder 2 tbsp
  • Ginger paste 2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
Recipe Method
Heat some oil in a skillet and saute the onions until golden brown, take them out on a tissue paper so they remain crisp.
Now add in the meat with salt in the skillet along with yoghurt, coriander powder, red chili powder, all spice powder, qorma masala and ginger paste. Now, as the water dries out add in the onions by crushing them by your hand. Now mix in everything well and cook for a while. Add in a cup of warm water to the skillet and let it cook.
Now crush poppy seeds, cardamoms and cumin seeds together and add it to the meat when it is tender and the water has dried up. Then put in some ghee and keep it for dum.
Finally dish it out and serve with roghan naan.
