Shab e Daig

Ingredients
  • Beef-1 kg
  • Turnip-1/2 kg
  • Carrot-4
  • Tomato-3
  • Onion-3
  • Ginger/garlic paste-2tbsp
  • Coriander powder-2tbsp
  • Red pepper powder-1tbsp
  • Turmeric-1tsp
  • Beef/mutton minced-1/2 kg
  • Chick pea (bhune chane)-1tbsp
  • White cumin-1tsp
  • All spices powder (garam masala)-2tsp
  • Yogurt-1 cup
  • Coriander-little bit (chopped)
  • Sugar-1tsp
  • Green chili -4(chopped)
  • Lemon-3
  • Oil-1 cup
  • salt-as required

Method

  • Peal the turnip and carrot and cut it into 4 pieces.
  • Take a cooking bowl and put oil, meat .Onion ,salt ,turmeric ,red pepper ,coriander powder ,ginger garlic paste ,water and cook it over slow flame until meat get soft.
  • After that take chick pea , cumin blend it well and mixed into minced.
  • Now add all spices(garam maasala) and chopped minced in a chopper or sill.
  • Give them a shape like bows and and fry these balls for a while.
  • After that when turnip and carrot for a while.
  • Now put Yogurt , sugar,  and tomato in the meat and cook it well.
  • Now add koftay ,carrot ,turnip, water 3 to 4 cup  and cook it over slow flame.
  • When oil comes up then add green spices ,All spices (Garam masala) , lemon syrup and cook it over slow flame with 5 min.
  • Serve it with naan.
