Sheer Maal Recipe

Try this wonder sweet bread, similar to naan, if you want to make softer Sheer Maal’s simple make in your frying an instead.
Sheer Maal
Recipe Ingredients

  • Flour 1/2 kg
  • Milk 1/2 litre
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Sugar 3 tbsp
  • Ghee 1 cup
  • Milk Powder 1 cup
Recipe Method

  1. In lukewarm water add sugar and dissolve it well.
  2. Sieve flour and add all ingredients kneed with lukewarn milk.
  3. Leave for 15 minutes to set.
  4. Roll in with with rolling pin.
  5. Put on foil covered baking tray with kitchen foil.
  6. Put sheermaal on tray and mark with sheermal comb.
  7. Put in oven and bake for 250C for 7-10 minutes.
  8. When baked apply ghee on surface.
  9. For Pan Sheermaal: Heat pan on stove put sheermal in pan and coverd with lid let it cook for 3-4 minutes with out any water or oil.
  10. After a while sprinkle water in sheermaal and trun side cook for 4-5 minutes more.
