Spicy Shredded Chicken


Boneless chicken ½ kg
Water 1 cup
Turmeric 1 tsp
All spice 1 tsp
Salt 1 tsp
Ginger garlic paste 2 tsp
Green chili paste 2 tbsp
Ingredients for Gravy
Onion 2
Tomatoes 2
Curry leaves 6
Coriander leaves few
Oil ½ cup
Chili powder 1 tsp
Fennel seeds 1 tsp
Salt ½ tsp
Coconut grated 2 tbsp
Lemon juice 2 tbsp

• Cut ½ kg chicken into cubes, marinate with 1 tsp salt, 2 tsp ginger garlic paste, 2 tbsp green chili paste, 1 tsp turmeric and 1 tsp all spice powder for 10 minutes.
• Now boil marinated chicken with 1 cup water till tender. Shred the chicken well and keep aside.
• Heat ½ cup oil in other pan, add 2 sliced onion and fry till golden brown.
• Now add ½ tsp salt, 1 tsp chili powder, 1 tsp fennel seeds, 6 curry leaves and 2 tomatoes.
• Fry well. Add shredded chicken with 2 tbsp grated coconut, 2 tbsp lemon juice and few coriander leaves. Simmer for 10 minutes.
• Dish it out, serve with chapatti or paratha.
