Tawa Fried Liver Recipe

Liver is traditionally eaten on the occassion of Eid-ul-Adha. Even mostly people prepare liver specially on eid lunch after sacrifice of animals. Try this Tawa Fried Liver recipe on this Eid and get a differnt taste. Apply salt on liver and leave it for 15 to 20 minutes to get rid of it’s bad smell.
 Tawa Fried Liver
Recipe Ingredients

  • Liver ½ kg
  • Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
  • Tomatoes 2
  • Red chili powder 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric ½ tsp
  • Cumin seeds 1 tsp
  • Coriander powder 1 tsp
  • Tart powder ½ tsp
  • Nutmeg mace powder a pinch
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil as required
Recipe Method

  1. Cut mutton liver into small pieces.
  2. Pour oil and ginger garlic paste in a pan.
  3. After cooking for 2 to 3 minutes, add liver to it.
  4. Fry the liver till it is brown.
  5. Add tomatoes, coriander leaves and all the remaining masala to it.
  6. Add 2 cups of water place the lid on the pan and leave it to simmer.
  7. After 15 minutes, remove the lid and fry it on high flame until the oil separates.
  8. Garnish with coriander leaves, sliced ginger and tomatoes to serve.
  9. Tips:
  10. Salt the liver and leave it for 15 to 20 minutes to get rid of its bad smell.
