Three layered mince pie By Cooking Expert Shireen Anwer Recipe


Ingredients for dough
Flour ½ kg
Instant yeast 2 tbsp
Sugar 1 tsp
Sugar 2 tbsp
Salt ½ tsp
Luke warm water to knead
Method for dough
In a bowl mix Flour ½ kg, Instant yeast 2 tbsp, Sugar 1 tsp, Sugar 2 tbsp
Salt ½ tsp kneads with Luke warm water in to soft dough, leave to rise for 30 minutes.
Ingredients for filling
Mince 750 gm
Onion 1 cup finely chopped
Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
Chili powder 1 tbsp
Salt 1 tsp
Coriander powder 1 ½ tsp
All spice 1 tsp
Lemon juice 2 tbsp
Green chilies 3 chopped
Coriander elves 2 tbsp chopped
Oil ¼ cup
Method for filling
Heat oil fry onion light golden add ginger garlic paste, salt, chili powder, coriander powder, add mince cover and cook till done lastly add lemon juice, all spice, chopped coriander and green chilies.
Ingredients for topping
Beaten eggs 4
Solid ghee 4 tbsp
Salt ½ tsp
To assemble
Take a 10 inch square tin put 3 tbsp of beaten egg and ghee mixture on base divide your into 3 parts, roll one into ¼ inch spread on the tin, spread ½ mince then put 4 tbsp of prepared topping roll the second dough and covered on that, again put 2 to 3 tbsp topping then your mince filling again 4 to 5 tbsp egg and ghee mixture on mince then roll your 3rd part of the dough spread on mince pinch the edges, put remaining egg and ghee topping on top bake in a pre heated oven on 200 degree C for 40 minutes. Slightly cool over turn in a serving dish serve with ketchup.
