ZEERA MURG

INGREDIENTS

  • Chicken boneless ½ kg
  • Onion chopped 2
  • Oil ¼ cup
  • Garlic 4 – 5 cloves
  • Ginger 1 medium piece
  • Cumin powder 1 tsp
  • Cumin seeds 1 tsp
  • Crushed black pepper 1 tsp
  • All spice powder ½ tsp
  • Lemon juice 1 – 1 ½ tbsp
  • Water ½ cup
  • Salt to taste

COOKING DIRECTIONS

Heat ¼ cup oil in a wok, add in 2 chopped onion, 1 medium piece of chopped ginger, 4 – 5 cloves of chopped garlic and ½ kg boneless chicken. Fry well till chicken is golden brown in color.

Now add 1 tsp cumin powder, 1 tsp cumin seeds, 1 tsp crushed red pepper, salt to taste and 1 – 1 ½ tbsp lemon juice.

Also add in ½ cup water, cover and cook for 10 – 12 minutes.
Now remove lid, fry well till water dries.

Sprinkle ½ tsp all spice powder and mix well.Dish it out and serve hot with steamed rice.
