Chana Kabab Masala Recipe

Chana Kabab Masala
Recipe Ingredients

  • Boiled chickpeas 1 cup
  • Chicken stock 1 glass
  • Red lentils 50 gm
  • Turmeric 1 tsp
  • Chili powder 1 tsp
  • Yogurt 125 gm
  • Oil ¼ cup
  • Onion 1
  • Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
  • Cumin powder 1 tsp
  • Alls spice powder ½ tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Ingredients for Kabab
  • Mince 300 gm
  • Ginger 1 piece
  • Garlic 4 – 5 coves
  • All spice powder 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder  1 tsp
  • Cumin powder 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Onion 1
  • Oil ¼ cup
  • Green chilies 3 – 4
  • Coriander leaves ¼ bunch
  • Egg 1

Recipe Method

  1. Heat ¼ cup oil in a pan, add 1 chopped onion and fry till golden brown.
  2. Then add 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste, 1 cup boiled chickpeas and 50 gm soaked lentils. Cook for 2 – 3 minutes.
  3. Now add 125 gm yogurt, 1 glass stock, 1 tsp turmeric, 1 tsp chili powder, 1 tsp cumin powder, ½ tsp all spice powder and salt to taste. Cook for 15 – 20 minutes.
  4. Now turn the flame and fry well.
  5. In chopper put together 300 gm mince, ¼ bunch f coriander leaves, 1 chopped onion, 4 – 5 cloves of garlic, 1 medium piece of ginger, salt to taste, 1 tsp all spice powder and 1 egg. Chopperize well.
  6. Remove mixture in a bowl, form into kabab. Shallow fry each kabab till golden brown and crisp.
  7. Add fried kababs to the prepared chickpeas gravy.
  8. Turn the flame high, fry for 1 – 2 minutes till oil comes on top. Dish it out and serve hot.
