How to make Pasta Lasagna

  • Use a 1-2 gallon pot for boiling your water, and fill it at least halfway.
  • Get your water to a rolling boil.
  • Take your lasagna pasta 1-2 pieces at a time, and slide them down into the water.
  • As soon as the pasta is just soft enough to bend, put it on its edge.
  • Keep adding pasta (move as quickly as you can, but be careful of burns) and putting it on edge.
  • Once all the pasta is in, gently stir in a swirling motion using tongs to move the pasta. You should have a ring of pasta in the pot.
  • Keep gently stirring the pasta in circles. Use the tongs to bring the outside pieces to the center, and push the inside ones out.
  • Take the pasta off the heat when it reaches an al dente state. Don’t overcook the pasta, or your efforts will be for nothing.
  • Slowly pour the lasagna pasta into a large colander and rinse with cool water.
  • Your pasta should be completely intact and ready to make your lasagna.
  • Pasta Lasagna is ready to serve.
